Champagne Cattier Brut Rosé Premier Cru 

An expressive and elegant Premier Cru rosé Champagne from the venerable Champagne Cattier house, this cuvée captures the aromatic complexity of the Montagne de Reims terroir. Crafted by adding a proportion of red wine to the base blend, it showcases the quality of its Pinot Noir-driven grapes while retaining finesse and freshness.

Blend & Vinification:
The cuvée is composed of 31% Chardonnay, 26% Pinot Meunier and 43% Pinot Noir, with a high proportion of reserve wines (approx. 41%) contributing to its depth and balance. It spends over three years on the lees before disgorgement, enhancing texture and complexity.

Tasting Notes:
In the glass, it shows a delicate pale pink with orange highlights and a persistent fine bead. On the nose, expect rich red-berry aromas—notably redcurrant—evolving to blackcurrant, strawberry, dried orange zest, apricot and subtle nutty nuances. The palate is vibrant with fresh acidity, generous fruit flavours of blackcurrant and strawberry, a hint of English toffee, and a creamy caramel-tinged finish.

Food Pairing & Serving:
Serve chilled at 8–10 °C. This rosé Champagne is delightful as an aperitif and pairs beautifully with salmon starters, langoustines, seafood, sushi, and mildly sweet berry desserts or fruit crumbles.
