Torrontés – Finca Las Nubes

Description

An aromatic and refreshing white wine made from premium Torrontés grapes grown in the high-altitude vineyards of Finca Las Nubes, situated at an impressive 1,850 meters above sea level at the foothills of the El Cajón mountains in the upper Cafayate Valley, Salta, Argentina.
The 12-year-old vineyards are planted at a density of 5,000 vines per hectare in deep, well-drained sandy-stony soils, with drip irrigation and sustainable vineyard management.

The region’s unique microclimate — warm, sunny days, dramatic temperature shifts of 15–20°C, and very low rainfall — ensures perfect ripening and exceptional aromatic concentration.

Grapes are hand-harvested in late March into 20 kg boxes, followed by meticulous cluster selection at the winery. After cooling, the grapes undergo a cold soak and fermentation at 15°C with selected yeasts. The wine rests on fine lees and clarifies naturally during the cold winter months.

Fresh, fruity, and intensely aromatic — classic Torrontés — with hints of citrus, white flowers, and white peach.

Palate

Well-structured, fresh, round, and beautifully balanced, with a long and harmonious finish.
