Malbec – Finca Las Nubes

A high-quality, expressive Malbec crafted from premium grapes grown in the Finca Las Nubes vineyards, situated at an impressive altitude of 1,850 meters at the foothills of the El Cajón mountain range, in the upper Cafayate Valley, Salta, Argentina.
These 12-year-old vineyards are planted at a density of 5,000 vines per hectare in deep, well-drained sandy-stony soils, cultivated sustainably and irrigated by drip. The region’s unique microclimate — warm, sunny days, dramatic temperature swings of 15–20°C, and very little rainfall — enables perfect ripening of healthy, aromatic, and intensely colored fruit.

Harvesting takes place by hand at the end of March in 20-kg boxes, followed by meticulous cluster selection at the winery. The grapes undergo cooling, cold maceration, and controlled fermentation at 15°C with selected yeasts.
The wine rests on fine lees and clarifies naturally thanks to winter cold. Aging in French oak barrels adds depth, elegance, and delicate notes of vanilla and toast.

Tasting Notes

Appearance:
Deep ruby red with purple edges.

Nose:
Intense fruit aromas of plum, raisins, and pepper, complemented by subtle touches of vanilla and gentle toast.

Palate:
Full-bodied and powerful, with soft tannins, excellent balance, and a long, harmonious finish.

Perfect Pairings:
Red meats, lamb dishes, and barbecue meals.
