Vineyard / Cru: Montersino, commune of Treiso, Piedmont, Italy — calcareous soil with fine sand & white marl, altitude 300–320 m, vines planted 1982.

Vinification & Ageing: Traditional fermentation + maceration; aged 12–15 months in large oak barrels, then stainless steel finishing before bottling; then minimum 6 months in bottle before release.

Alcohol: 14.5% ABV (as per recent 2020 listings)

Typical Profile / Tasting Notes: On nose — red cherry, herbs, earth, tobacco, crushed rock/mineral, toasted spice. Medium- to full-bodied; structure with refined tannins, good acidity, mineral backbone.

Food Pairing (based on Nebbiolo structure): Roasted red meats, game, truffle pasta, aged cheeses, dishes with earthy or savory elements.
